Technical and Historical Notes

The Zeonic Company produces four MS-06R-2 Zaku II High Mobility Type units, with one of them designated for development and testing purposes. This unit is modified into the MS-06R-3S High Mobility Type Zaku, or as it is commonly known the Zaku III. The MS-06R-3S is armed with a beam rifle, a heat sword and a pair of vulcan guns. The unit's main purpose is to test the technology that is later used in the MS-14S (YMS-14) Gelgoog Commander Type.
