Technical and Historical Notes

The RGM-79F Land Combat Type GM is a ground combat mobile suit developed by the Earth Federation during the One Year War. To overcome ground combat obstacles such as buildings and trees, the upper half of the GM's armor is strengthened. Because of this a Zaku machinegun is unable to pierce through the armor, increasing a pilot's rate of survival. In addition to the standard armaments of the RGM-79 GM, the Land Combat Type GM also includes a railcannon. The Land Combat Type GM is mainly deployed on the European battle lines.
