Technical and Historical Notes

During the development of its new land combat MS-09 Dom, Zimmad Company modified a MS-07 Gouf to serve as a test data collection unit for the Dom project. Called the MS-07C-5 Gouf Test Prototype, this unit was used strictly for test operations and never saw combat. It mounted extra thrusters in its legs to mimick the characteristics of the in-development Dom, as well as a new weapon that would be a standard for the Dom, the highly effective heat saber.
