The Rhinoceros Type B mobile armor is developed near the end of the war by squads in the front lines using mostly spare parts, including a stolen Earth Federation Forces Burstliner cannon. The development details are the same as that of the MS-06V Zaku Tank, but its abilities are superior compared to the Zaku Tank. The Rhinoceros has a heavy attack power and is used for long range attacks, but where it gains in offense it loses in defense. Only one Rhinoceros is known to have been built and is deployed at Zeon's Hughenden H.L.V. base in Australia. It's destroyed while defending the base by the Federation Forces' White Dingo Team on January 2, UC 0080.
Appearances: Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story 0079: Rise from the Ashes; SD Gundam: G Generation Spirits
Original mechanical designer: Hideyuki Kikuchi
