Technical and Historical Notes

During the Bloody Valentine War, the Earth Alliance is slow to introduce mobile suits as replacements for the aging mobile armor TS-MA2 Moebius. Even after developing their own mobile suits, the Alliance continues to experiment with mobile armor designs, such as the YMAF-X6BD Zamza-Zah and YMAG-X7F Gells-Ghe. In addition to those prototype designs, the Alliance mass produces the TS-MB1B Euclid, which can operate in the Earth's atmosphere and in space. The Euclid is armed with a pair of high-energy beam cannons and 7-barrel Gatling guns. It also features the same positron reflector shield used by the GFAS-X1 Destroy Gundam. The Euclid is first deployed during the Second Bloody Valentine War in late C.E. 73 when ZAFT forces attack the Alliance's Heavens Base headquarters in Iceland. Later, several Euclid units are used to guard the Requiem cannon near the Daedalus lunar base.
