Technical and Historical Notes

During the Bloody Valentine War, the Alliance creates the GAT-X255 Forbidden Blue to combat ZAFT's amphibious mobile suits. The GAT-706S Deep Forbidden is a refined, mass production version of the Forbidden Blue. The basic design remains unchanged, although the Deep Forbidden lacks the Trans-Phase armor and advanced sensor systems of the Forbidden Blue. The Deep Forbidden uses the same "Geschmeidig Panzer" energy deflection system for underwater movement and pressure counteraction, but the unit has been improved with reinforced titanium surrounding the cockpit. The Deep Forbidden is armed with a phonon maser cannon, torpedo launchers, shield-mounted combat spikes and a trident.
