Technical and Historical Notes

Following its success during the Babylonia Founding Conflict, the F91 Gundam F91 is given a limited mass production run by the Earth Federation Forces. One such unit is piloted by Harrison Madin, the ace pilot known as the Blue Flash; this is actually his second F91, as his first is irreparably damaged during the Jovian War in UC 0133 when he faces off against Kincaid Nau's XM-X1 (F97) Crossbone Gundam X1 Kai. During the events of Operation Zeus' Wrath, Harrison is unable to help the Crossbone Vanguard because the Federation chooses not to pursue the matter any further following the destruction of Callisto's Shadow's Earth attack team. Thus, Harrison gives his F91 to Mitchell Derek Nar, one of the F99 Record Breaker test pilots, to fight in his place. Because cost is no longer an issue, some of the functions that were removed for mass production are restored, meaning this F91's performance is close to the original prototype's.
