Technical and Historical Notes

After the NRS-P701 Gozzos battled Loran Cehack's SYSTEM ∀-99 (WD-M01) ∀ Gundam, they were collected by the Earth Militia and upgraded into the NRS-P701R Godwin. Like the Gozzo, the Godwin was armed with a railgun mounted on the right shoulder. It lacked the Gozzo's spiked shield and forearm missile launchers, but it was equipped with a heat hawk for close combat. Two units were assigned to former Gozzo pilots Bruno and Jacop. After a failed attempt to assassinate Queen Dianna Soriel, Bruno and Jacop would use their Godwins for the Earth Militia, where they stay until the end of the war.
