Technical
and Historical Notes |
The
MAN-002 Febral was a Newtype use mobile armor developed by the
Space Revolutionary Army during the 7th Space War. It was very
fast and agile for its large size. The Febral's main armament
consisted of two 5-barrel beam guns mounted on the hands as
fingers. One unique feature of the Febral was that its cockpit
was mounted in the head and could separate from the main body
in the event that it was destroyed. It is unknown exactly how
many Febral's were produced, but one of them was piloted by
Newtype ace Lancerow Dawell. During the last battle of the 7th
Space War, Lancerow had one final duel with his rival Jamil
Neate and his GX-9900 Gundam X. In
the end, both units were crippled and Jamil and Lancerow lost
their Newtype powers.
