Technical and Historical Notes

The Amon Doc is supposedly the final design that evolves from the NRX-055 Baund Doc prototype. In essence, it's built by joining two Baund Doc units' skirt armor and adding two large claw arms in the place of legs. The Amon Doc is supposedly created to deal with the Baund Doc's two main faults - lack of formidable fixed weapons and extreme vulnerability in mobile armor mode. During its one battle, the Amon Doc allows its pilot to communicate with the dead - a feature that has never been observed in other Newtype-use mobile suits, leading some to believe that, unlike the Baund Doc, it's equipped not with a psycommu system, but with a bio-sensor system, similar to the one installed in the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam. Despite the great advantage the system grants in battle, the Amon Doc is destroyed while being transported from a Titans base on the Moon. Its wreckage, however, is never discovered, suggesting, along with its unorthodox design, that it may be a fictional mobile armor made up for the Diary of Edgar Edmond Smith, along with the Half Gundam and Half Zeta Gundam.
