Technical and Historical Notes

The BEL-1999 Caldia serves an important function: labor guard dog. Developed by Schaft Enterprises Europe, the Caldia is an unmanned guard labor. Designed mainly to defend against humans, the Caldia is equipped with several stun guns, but it can also prove menacing to labors in numbers. The Caldia features wheels in its legs and can maneuver at high speeds along floors and walls. The Caldia is used in a variety of security situations, including nighttime protection of banks. However, at one bank the Caldia proves ineffective when a bank robber uses a full-sized labor against it.
