Technical and Historical Notes

The TS-SG-50C Skull Gunner is an unmanned "terror striker" developed by the Gradosian Empire. The Skull Gunner's head features sensors and an anti-personnel laser in place of a manned cockpit. Thanks to the lack of a human pilot, the Skull Gunner is capable of advanced maneuvers beyond the range of a normal super powered tracer. Its main armament is a pair of forearm-mounted lasered guns. The Skull Gunner's durable construction allows it to continue to function even when its head has been decapitated. Extreme sensitivity to sound aids the Skull Gunner in its anti-personnel mission. In October 1996, Grados deploys Skull Gunners to the Moon in advance of their Earth invasion. In a short time, the Skull Gunners kill nearly all of the Moon's 30,000 inhabitants. By 1999, Grados has deployed an Earth-based policing variant, the TS-TP-50D Terminator Police.
