Technical and Historical Notes

The Alteisen Nacht is one of the first personal trooper units created by the demon world of Formido Heim along with the Weissritter Abend. The Nacht is based on data found inside the front half of the Shadow Mirror battleship Neverland that crashes on Formido Heim. The Nacht's specialty is melee combat. It is armed with five layered claymores, large ones in the shoulders and smaller ones on the left arm. These layered claymores fire large metal balls at enemies. The left arm also mounts a 5-barrelled chain gun, the right arm has the powerful revolving breaker, and the forehead holds a heat horn. The Nacht is capable of transmitting data across a variety of electromagnetic bandwidths, allowing it to disable radar and hack enemy control programs. It also has the ability to teleport independently. The Nacht is normally blue, but when it heats up it turns red.

The Nacht, along with the Abend and the ArcGain, accompanies Formido Heim’s king, Stahl Deib, through a sealed Cross Gate into the world of the Einst. Deib and the three machines eventually return, however they have been corrupted by the Einst. The three machines received an increase in combat ability, along with self-regenerating armor. Deib begins the Ten Year War against the world of Elfetale shortly afterward. The personal troopers cause much devastation during the war. Realizing his king has changed, Ezel Granada, leader of Formido Heim’s elite Orchestral Army, revolts. Ezel manages to kill the Einst Deib, but the Orchestral Army is almost completely wiped out. The Ten Year War ends, and the Nacht, Abend and ArcGain disappear.

Three years later, the Nacht shows itself again with unknown motives. Bounty hunter Haken Browning encounters both the Nacht and the Abend in combat. After the personal troopers were defeated, Haken’s Gespenst Haken uploads a control program into the Nacht and Abend, making the machines loyal to Haken. After the defeat of the Einst Wahrschein Lichkeit, and the subsequent merger of the Endless Frontier into one land, the Nacht remains in Haken’s service.
