WOO-HOO! The HGUC version of the standard Zaku II! A recast, obviously, but a most welcome one. Note the simple “MS-06” designation - no Fs, Cs or L-M-N-O-Ps here, just straight old-school funky

Head

The same as Char’s Zaku, minus the blade antenna. A blade antenna option was not included with this kit.

Torso

The same as Char’s Zaku, but with a curious twist. The torso’s the right color, but the rest of the suit is just...too...LIGHT! It’s molded in the MG Zaku F2 colors, so it’s far paler than any other Zaku release (this color would have been perfect for the 1/550th Neue Ziel, but that’s another review).

Arms

The same as Char’s Zaku. Cool.

Legs

The same as Char’s Zaku. Still cool.

Weapons and Accessories

The standard Zaku package: Zaku machine gun, Zaku bazooka, heat hawk - and two nicely done strap-on 3 tube missile launchers. Remember those ‘blank’ spots on the Zaku II-S sprues? They’re pretty much filled up by those parts.

Conclusion

Nifty rendering of this classic bad-guy suit. The funky light green may put off some fans, but I choose to see it as another sign the HGUC Zaku F2 is coming...
