Introduction

Contributor: G-Slayer

Another Gundam toy saved from the gift shop trash heap, the Zeong replaces my Acguy as the biggest MSiA in my collection. And it maintains enough detail and features to match those of Star Wars toys.

Head

The head can do a 360° spin and tilt slightly. Staying true to its inspiration, you can detach the head from the upper body, which sports a large ribbed peg to keep the head in place.

Torso

Personalized with the Zeon insignia, the torso has been molded and painted with care. From the thrusters and mega particle guns in the chest to the ventilation in the back of the body, the toy's designers spared no expense in preparing the Zeong for the 21st century. Actually, the design is not completely accurate. For example, the rockets at the bottom of the body (2 of which are poseable) are made of a shimmering black plastic.

Arms

Though the arms are constructed and painted with most of the right colors, the upper arms are molded in dark green.  Not only are forearms covered with loose armor, but they're pretty hard to detach from the arms the first time around (in order to attach the connector cables). In fact, I ended up pulling off the joints of the elbow. The hands consist of closed fists, open hands with the beam gun fingers extended, and a pair of hands with poseable fingers. Another interesting detail is that-instead of ball joints or pegs-the hands attach to the arms with the kind of joints you would find at the elbows and knees, but much smaller.

Weapons and Accessories

Connector cables- The Zeong comes with two cables to attach to the arms; one is straight and the other is curved. One end of each cable attaches to the forearm with a plug and the other end attaches to the elbows with a peg.

Conclusion

Now that all is said and done, this concludes my review of the MSiA Zeong action figure: 80% complete, 100% battle-ready, and about 90% fun.

Overall Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
