Introduction

This was a must-have for me since I'm a fan of the GM and the last MSiA they made of him was very poorly made. This new GM has 2 new weapons and a new ship. Let's see what it is!

Head

The head of this MS is very well done and is proportional to the rest of the GM. It is painted nicely with a green main camera and backup cameras and a bluish-white head unit. The articulation is very well and it can move very well.

Torso

The torso is based on the RX-78-2 Gundam Second Version's torso but is just painted different and has a little orange pilot instead of white. The backpack is also different in some ways. The backpack I received wasn't molded correctly and one hole in it wasn't the size of the "peg" it goes in, but I forced it in and haven't taken it out yet and it should be proper now. There is one beam saber but again, like the first GM, it has no hyper bazooka rack, though it doesn't come with a hyper bazooka. The boosters on the backpack are different from Gundam Second Version's also. The upper torso is painted in red and the collar area is in bluish white. The vents are yellow and the cockpit door is black. The backpack is bluish white and the boosters are black and red. The beam saber handle is white. Now for the lower torso. The skirt armor on this thing is movable, but can get warped if it stays like that for too long. The armor is painted, again, bluish white. The back of the skirt armor does have a bazooka mount just like Gundam 2nd ver.

Arms

The arms on my GM are the biggest problem, but that's because my problem was because of the factory. The right arm socket wasn't molded properly and will fall out with even the slightest movement. Aside from that, the arms are well put together and has a shield hole just like Gundam...again. They are painted bluish white and the hole is in black. The shoulder pads are in red and, to tell you the truth, are not molded very well. They work and all but the "connector" to the ball joint is bent. It doesn't effect anything and no one will notice unless you take it off, but again, I think that's only with mine. The hands are in that dark Gundam green/gray and hold the weapons and shield nice and tight. I don't think I have to tell you this but, the arms are double-jointed, just like every other MSiA for a while now.

Legs

The legs of this MS are again, based on the Gundam 2.0. They are in bluish white and the feet are in red. The bottom of the feet are greatly detailed with black and red booster units. The legs are double-jointed and the joints are tight.

Weapons and Accessories

Hands- Comes with 2 fists, 2 beam saber hands, and 2 gun hands. All hands serve their purpose well. The beam saber hand's thumbs are molded to the pointing finger so that the beam saber CANNOT fall out, though they cannot hold anything else.

Shield- The shield is exactly like Gundam 2.0s and is in white, red, and yellow and has a handle and an arm connector, both of which are connected to the shield via ball-joint.

Beam saber- the beam saber fits well in the backpack and hands and the translucent pink beam fits in the beam saber handle snugly.

Beam spray gun- The normal gun that a GM has, this gray weapon is molded a lot better than the GM 1.0. It fits into the hands well.

GM Command's beam gun- This new weapon fits into the hands well and features a gray, red, and white paint scheme. The e-pac can come off.

GM Cold Climate's submachine gun- This is a new weapon and my favorite out of all this GM's weaponry. It features a magazine on the side which is removable and a removable magazine/ grenade launcher and can be replaced with just a magazine. It is molded in gray and red and fits in the hands well.

Launch shuttle- This neat little ship is featured in the last episode of Mobile Suit Gundam when the White Base crew escapes the exploding White Base. It is molded in lime green, black, white, red, and gray It features movable thrusters.

Conclusion

The GM, despite its manufacturing flaws, is an awesome MSiA and is a big step above the GM 1.0. The weaponry and creativity of this MSiA is great and deserves it's overall rating.

Overall Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
