This guy is pretty small so there really isn't much to review
but I'll give it a try anyway.
Head
Comes with a solid plastic V-Fin and two plastic halves for the
actual head and stickers for the front camera and eyes, but man
this thing is ugly. It has the most horrible looking head I've
ever seen on a kit.
Torso
A very simple job with no fancy stuff, two halves for the body,
separate pieces for the vents, two wings with propellant tanks
or missiles and a backpack. The polycaps are all molded on to
one "skeleton" piece so to speak and they're pretty
rubbish.
Arms
These are horrible; no joints at all, no separate hands, just
two halves with a peg that sticks into the torso. The only movement
is in the shoulder.
Legs
Just
the same as the arms, two piece affair with only pegs and colored
in gray.
Weapons
and Accessories
There
isn't really much in the way of gimmicks on this kit. It's transformable
between waverider and mobile suit modes by the exchange of parts
(most notably the removal of the head) to make it appear in either
mode. The firing beam rifle is a good little gimmick, and although
I don't use the spring loaded firing mechanism, it's nice to know
it's there.
Conclusion
This kit was molded in only white and gray because it's supposed
to be built as either the A1, A4 or C1 variants, it actually comes
with
stickers for the A1 version and I wanted the A1 myself anyway.
I actually
painted this kit because the stickers really don't cut it. I only
used the
stickers for the shoulder decals and the Amuro decal on the shield,
so if
you want it to look good expect to be doing a lot of painting.
I wouldn't
recommend this kit to people who don't like painting or people
who are
used to the new Generation Neo kits as it's much harder
to work with
due to the age of the kit.
