The 35A/MPFM Multipurpose Flight Module was a support unit developed from the METEOR weapons platform. Whereas the METEOR was specifically designed for use with mobile suits, the MPFM could also be used by shuttles. The MPFM lacked the heavy weapons found on the METEOR, but it could be equipped with missile launchers when docked with a mobile suit.
