The Eight-Wheeled Armored Vehicle was an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) developed by the Republic of Zeon. The vehicle was covered in thick armor and could transport eight passengers over rough terrain. The vehicle was armed with a cupola-mounted machine gun. The APC was also used for training by students at the Space Defense Military Academy at Side 3’s Guardian Colony. The APC was part of the equipment used by Char Aznable and Garma Zabi when they instigated an uprising and attacked the nearby Earth Federation Forces barracks. The successful uprising was later known as the Dawn Rebellion.
