The AFV was a vehicle used by Megazone 23’s military. Although the military had developed more advanced weaponry based on data found in the supercomputer Bahamut, the AFV was an older style armored fighting vehicle that was part of the fiction of Megazone 23’s late 20th century Earth environment. It was armed with a machine gun but could also be equipped with a 6-tube missile launcher. AFVs were deployed during the military’s coup to take control of the ship and its inhabited civilian area.
