The AGE-TRYAGE Gundam TRY AGE Magnum was a custom Gunpla created by Kyoya Kujo (aka Kyoya Kisugi), the reigning Champion of GBN. It was based on the Try Age Gundam from the digital card game Gundam Try Age, which itself was a customized version of the AGE-1 Gundam AGE-1 Normal from the 2011-12 anime TV series Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. Compared to its inspiration, the TRY AGE Magnum featured a color scheme similar to Kyoya’s previous Gunpla, the AGE-IIMG-SV Gundam AGEII Magnum (SV ver.). The Gunpla utilized the Try Age System, a Perfect Rare reward that was obtainable in GBN. With this system, Kyoya could summon different types of armaments and abilities using specific digital cards. The Gunpla’s leg units could transform into a high mobility mode similar to the AGE-3O Gundam AGE-3 Orbital. 

A multipurpose backpack unit called the Try Frame Holder could read different cards to function defensively as a beam cape, or detach to become the handheld TRY Slash Blade. Other armaments included a TRY DODS Rifle, a long-barreled rifle that could switch to a precision shooting mode by rotating the barrel. The Gunpla’s forearms could generate a pair of TRY Arm Swords with output equal to the beam sabers of the AGE-3 Gundam AGE-3 Normal. Remote-controlled weapons called TRY Birds served multiple purposes – when attached to the shoulders, their beam guns functioned as DODS Cannons, but they could also detach and function as four Try Funnels. Kyoya demonstrated the power of his Gunpla (and his skills) during the Lotus Challenge Version Eldora, a rehearsal battle designed to help Force BUILD DiVERS prepare for their final mission on planet Eldora. When that final mission resulted in Alus invading GBN from Eldora, Kyoya led the fight to protect GBN.
