The AMS-120X Geara Doga Psycommu Test Type was an experimental Newtype use mobile suit developed by Char Aznable’s Neo Zeon movement. Developed alongside the AMS-119S Geara Doga Custom, it utilized the same moveable frame as the standard mass production AMS-119 Geara Doga. The AMS-120X was equipped with a psycommu system to handle remote control of six funnel weapons. The AMS-120X was also armed with a custom beam rifle with grenade launcher, a diffuse beam cannon and two beam sabers. Neo Zeon engineers were unable to miniaturize the psycommu system, which led to Anaheim Electronics being contracted to create a new design. Anaheim used data from the AMS-120X to develop the MSN-03 Jagd Doga, which featured lower firepower but improved mobility. Data from the AMS-120X was also used to develop the beam shot rifle and diffuse mega particle cannon featured in Char’s personal mobile suit, the MSN-04 Sazabi.
