The Ananke was a modified Magellan class battleship that served as the flagship of Gen. Johann Ibrahim Revil prior to the Battle of Loum. Compared to the standard Magellan, the Ananke featured a secondary turret behind its main gun instead of a Vertical Launch System (VLS). It also featured different hull markings to distinguish it from other Magellan ships. During the Battle of Loum, the Ananke acted as the flagship of the EFF space fleet. The ship was destroyed in combat, and Revil’s escaping shuttle was captured by the Zeon ace pilots known as the Black Tri-Stars.
