In the streets of Nouvelle Tokyo City Tetsuya runs into Shogun Mifune and Hanzou in disguise. Shogun Mifune forgives him for practicing his sword skills but learns the Dou-Rin-Ken sword he has is from Might Gaine; he gets enraged and tries to attack Tetsuya with his sword but he escapes. Later on Hanzou preaches to a crowd in front of the Mifune Buddha at Neo Harajuku about how Shogun Mifune is right and how Japan has lots its ways. Shouichiro comes in and declares that Shogun Mifune is a criminal. Hanzou says those who do not believe in Shogun Mifune shall be punished. Shouichiro tries to kick the Buddha but Hanzou shoots a little bead, which causes him to fall with the crowd believing he got punished. Hanzou then tries to sell a charm to the crowd which will bring good luck for 500 yen, the normal price being 10,000 yen which the crowd buys. In the air Maito in the Might Wing spies on the Mifune Buddha which doesn't have any weapons or bombs. In the city Hanzou and his men go around and cause good luck to happen to the people who bought the charm who all believe it was the luck of Mifune Buddha. The people who got good luck then go and tell the crowd of the good luck which causes more buying of the charms. In his house Maito watches the news about Shogun Mifune's luck spreading. Suddenly Hamada enters and tells him that when he examined the statue with an x-ray the results showed they were hiding something with special coating. Maito then swears he'll find out what Shogun Mifune is planning. At Edo Land in his castle Shogun Mifune is extremely pleased with the results of his plan. He says he will soon give a special kind of good luck. In another area of the city Sally is working on selling charms but has no business because of Mifune so she talks to Tetsuya. Tetsuya says he wants to buy a Mifune charm and make his dream of being friends of Might Gaine. Sally tells him to believe in himself and he'll make the dream come true some day on his own. At Neo Harajuku Maito arrives at the Shogun Buddha and is throws in a coin and wishes evil people like Shogun Mifune would disappear, bringing peace to Japan. This angers Hanzou who says Maito will get bad luck for his dishonor despite him being rich.
That night while Maito is walking down the street when he is attacked by
Hanzou's ninjas. Maito beats two of them but one of the defeated ones grabs his legs as another attacks with the sword. In an abandoned building Hanzou's ninjas report Maito has been taken care of. Hanzou laughs about how stupid people are for believing the charms brought them good luck and soon they'll be able to make the second and third Mifune Buddhas. He laughs about how they'll know the real terror of the Mifune Buddhas after that. The next day Shouichiro returns to the Mifune Buddha and demands Shogun Mifune shows himself. Shouichiro tries to convince the people that Shogun Mifune is evil but the crowd doesn't listen and Hanzou asks for proof. Suddenly a recording is played of Hanzou's conversation in the abandoned building. All of a sudden Maito reveals himself as a disguised ninja and tells that Hanzou is one of Shogun Mifune's ninjas. Hanzou then reveals himself and his ninjas as Shogun Mifune's Shadow Army. Shouichiro calls in the police, who take care of all the other ninjas except Hanzou. Hanzou goes after Maito, Maito shoots his gun but Hanzou blocks the bullets with his sword then knocks the gun free. Maito shoots a line up and kicks Hanzou in the face and demands he surrenders. Hanzou instead uses a smoke bomb and gets into the Mifune Buddha which cracks to reveal a ninja robot. The ninja robot then starts attacking the city as Maito orders Gaine to launch. Shogun Mifune watches this happen on the news and says this will have to do since the plan to make Mifune Buddhas all over Japan has failed. Gaine then arrives on the scene and transforms into robot form. Maito in the Might Wing views the fire and orders the Rescue Express to launch. Gaine attacks the ninja robot with Gaine Shot but has no effect. The Divers then arrive and rescue the people as per Maito's orders. Gaine and Might Wing attack the ninja robot until Locomoriser arrives; when it arrives they combine into Might Gaine. Tetsuya arrives as Might Gaine combines. Might Gaine then pulls out the Dou-Rin-Ken and attacks the ninja robot, but the ninja robot with its superior agility and speed gains the upper hand. The ninja robot grabs the Dou-Rin-Ken with its chain and shoots fire at Might Gaine. The Divers, seeing Might Gaine is in trouble, combine into Guard Diver and attack the fire with Hydro Cannon. Hanzou gets shocked that Might Gaine can still moves and Might Gaine finishes off the ninja robot with
Ichimonji-Giri. Shouichiro then arrests Hanzou as he crawls on the street.
Tetsuya waves at Might Gaine and Might Gaine waves back, Tetsuya gets
excited because it's what Sally said would happen.
This time around Shogun Mifune's plan revolves around getting people to
believe in him to get money and build lots of Buddha statues of him to attack all over Japan. It's an odd plan as you'd think it'd just be simpler to attack simultaneously with many robots instead of fooling people to gain money to do it. This time around there wasn't much motive with the whole feudal Japan thing he has going on. Shouichiro makes his reappearance in this episode and actually manages to do something useful.
