Magic Knight Rayearth
Magic Knight Rayearth began in 1993 as a manga written and drawn by CLAMP (Card Captor Sakura, Angelic Layer). It was followed by a sequel, Magic Knight Rayearth II, in 1995. The mangas were adapted into a TV series in, with an OVA retelling released in 1997. The story follows three girls named Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu who find themselves transported from Earth to the magical world of Cephiro. Together they must become the legendary Magic Knights and save Cephiro from destruction. The original manga is currently available from Dark Horse Comics, while the TV series was released by Media Blasters and OVA was released by Manga Entertainment. The TV series was re-released in 2017 on Blu-ray in North America by Discotek Media.
