The ARX-014S Silver Bullet Suppressor was a heavily modified version of the ARX-014 Silver Bullet, which itself was a substantial modification from Neo Zeon’s original AMX-014 Doven Wolf. The Silver Bullet Suppressor was created from a Silver Bullet testbed unit stored aboard the Magallanica, and the “Suppressor” in its name referred to its function of deterring/suppressing hostile organizations. The Suppressor dropped the incoms featured in the Silver Bullet, and its head and backpack were substantially redesigned. The Suppressor’s modifications enabled it to use a weapon not intended for it – the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam‘s beam magnum. Due to the beam magnum’s heavy recoil, the right forearm holding it was damaged and rendered inoperable after a single shot. To compensate for this problem, the Suppressor’s backpack mounted four replacement right forearms, and a crane and rail system automatically replaced the right forearm after each beam magnum shot. The Suppressor’s other armaments included two vulcan guns, two beam cannons, two grenade launchers and two beam sabers. The Suppressor, assigned to former Unicorn Gundam pilot Banagher Links, launched from the Garencieres Jr. in UC 0097 when Zoltan Akkanen’s NZ-999 II Neo Zeong attacked the helium-3 storage base. Banagher fires the beam magnum at the II Neo Zeong, providing critical back up for Jona Basta, who had just ejected his Core Fighter from the critically damaged RX-9 Narrative Gundam. As a result, Jona was able to transfer to the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex and later defeated the II Neo Zeong.
