The Auerstädt was a nuclear missile submarine originally developed and used by the Russian Navy. The Auerstädt featured 12 vertical launching docks that allowed it to perform underwater launches of SV-51 fighters in pressure-resistant capsules. The sub was armed with six torpedo launchers and multiple anti-air weapons and countermeasures. In 2008, the Auerstädt served as the base of operations for the Anti-U.N. forces that attacked the Mayan island in the South Pacific during the Bird Human Incident. The SV-51 fighter group was led by two ace pilots, D.D. Ivanov and Nora Polyansky.
