During the Hundred Years War, the Balarant mass produced the B-ATM-03 Fatty as a counter to the Gilgamesh ATM-09-ST Scopedog. In addition, several variations were created, including the B-ATM-03-GB Ground Fatty. Customized for desert combat, the Ground Fatty used gliding wheels similar to the Scopedog rather than the hover jets found in the standard Fatty. It was heavily armed, featuring two missile launchers, a dual mortar launcher, pile banker and catapult launcher. With its desert customizations, the Ground Fatty (and its sister variant, B-ATM-03-GA) was deployed in desert environments on planets such as Sunsa and Miyoite.
