The final robot created by Dr. Frank, the Balcione’s blueprints were the basis for the Balcion. Like the Balcion, the Balcione was equipped with 40mm grenade launchers in the chest and a beam cannon in the forehead. Unlike the Balcion, the Balcione’s beam cannon did not need an external dynamo. The Balcione also had six arm mounted guns, three in each forearm. It was later equipped with a Prescion electromagnetic cannon.
Like the Balcion, the Balcione became the personal machine of Lyune Frank. Itetsu Kamijo took Lyune and the others to Dr. Frank’s mountain villa, where the incomplete Balcione was stored in a secret hangar. After its completion, Lyune used the Balcione to fight alongside Ken Ando and Masaki’s Elemental Lords. While the Balcione’s strength was equal to, or possibly greater than, the Prescion’s, Lyune’s piloting skills were no match for the highly skilled Prescion pilots. The Balcione often found itself in need of repairs. Lyune vowed to use the Balcione to take back her father’s DC and challenges DC’s commander, Shu Zoldark, to a duel. Shu agreed; however, it was actually Saphine Grace who faced Lyune. The Balcione was no match for Saphine’s Granzon and was heavily damaged. It was then that the Elemental Lord Zamjeed chose Lyune as its pilot. Lyune refused to give up her Balcione and went to La Guias to say so directly. While Lyune was gone, the Balcione was repaired and piloted by Mizuki Kamijo to stop a DC experiment. Mizuki was knocked out at the start of the battle. After the death of Masaki, Lyune finally decided to become Zamjeed’s pilot.
