The Gundam Barbaric was a custom Gunpla built by Kentaro Mahara. It was based on the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos from the 2015-17 anime TV series Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Its armaments included a pair of 170mm autocannons mounted under each forearm and a large mace. In the final match of the 13th Gunpla Battle U.S. Championship, Kentaro was defeated by Takuma Nagitsuji’s GNT-0000SDV Gundam 00 Command Qan[T]. Feeling that he was robbed of his rightful victory, Kentaro hatched an elaborate revenge plot to disrupt GB Fest. As part of his plan, he further customized the Gundam Barbaric into the ASW-G-08-4X4 Gundam Barbataurus.
