Gundam: The Battle Master 2 is a Sony PlayStation 1 video game originally released in Japan in 1998. Developed by Natsume and published by Bandai, it is a sequel to the 1997 game Gundam: The Battle Master. In 2000, the game was retooled and released in North America under the title Gundam Battle Assault. This version removed the original characters and added Heero Yuy and the Wing Gundam due to the recent North American broadcast of the TV series New Mobile Report Gundam Wing. It was followed by the 2002 sequel Gundam Battle Assault 2.
