

Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack – Beltorchika’s Children is a novel released exclusively in Japan in 1988. It is an adaptation based on Yoshiyuki Tomino’s original outline that became the 1988 film Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack. Written by Tomino with mechanical designs by Yutaka Izubuchi and character illustrations by Haruhiko Mikimoto, it was published by Kadokawa Shoten Sneaker Bunko. Set in UC 0093, the novel adapts the story of Char’s Rebellion, featuring added story elements, different characters and new mobile suits. In 2014, the novel was adapted into a manga series of the same name.
