The CMS-223G Gala was the personal suit of Don Boyage, leader of the Zalam Union. The Gala was similar to the Zalam’s standard model CMS-223Z Zila, although its armaments differed. The Gala was equipped with a shield and carried a morningstar that featured multiple machine guns. Boyage used his Gala as part of the petty feud between Zalam and the Euba Alliance on the space colony Fardain. The situation changed in AG 115 with the arrival of the Earth Federation Forces battleship Diva and attacks by the Vagans (aka Unknown Enemy). Ultimately, the Zalam and Euba factions ended their conflict and joined the Diva in an alliance to fight the Vagans. Unfortunately for Boyage, his antiquated mobile suit was no match for the Vagans and was destroyed in combat.
