Brave Command Dagwon is the seventh Brave TV series and aired exclusively in Japan from 1996-1997. Directed by Tomomi Mochizuki, its other headlining staff includes head writer Kenichi Araki, mechanical designer Kunio Okawara, character designer Akira Oguro, and composer Edison. The story focuses on a group of Japanese high school students, led by En Daidouji, who are recruited by the Dagwon Interstellar Police Force to protect Earth from the alien criminals that have escaped from the space prison Sargasso. In 1997, Dagwon became the first Brave series to receive an OVA sequel, titled The Boy with Crystal Eyes. Also in 1997, its TV broadcast was followed by King of Braves GaoGaiGar, the final Brave TV series.
