Dagwon Ep. 3: Dag-Fire: Missing in Action

As En bicycles to school, he finds Maria examining a sidewalk and asks her if she’s looking for paranormal things. She asks him to help her find her contacts, and he suggests she ask her spirits to help. Nearby, a Cessna crashes in the middle of city traffic. A gas truck crashes into the plane, followed by a small car and a another truck behind it. A young mother and her son are trapped in the car as flames form around the gas truck. Fire En appears and flies them to safety just as the truck explodes. Maria points to a green slime coming out of the Cessna, which is the alien Gallon. En runs after Gallon, but it slithers down into the subway. He summons his Fire Stratos car to head down into the subway and chase Gallon. Gallon jumps onto a subway train and moves to the front, where it sucks the life out of the conductor and turns him into a mummy. The train speeds on out of control and zooms past a subway station. En pulls in at the head of the train and uses the Fire Stratos to stop the train. He jumps into the train and is attacked by Gallon. He transforms and runs off to get the slime off his Dagtector suit, but he is critically wounded. After Gallon escapes, En calls for the Fire Rescue. Elsewhere, Kai and the others examine En in the ambulance. Yoku concludes that although the Dagtector is okay, En’s body is almost entirely drained of energy. Kai decides they must investigate further before more people are hurt. Flying in the sky on Guard Hawk, Ryu finds a wrecked truck, which leads Kai to a nearby warehouse. As they each explore the warehouse, they find more mummified bodies. As Kai explores a darkened corridor, Gallon appears and chases him. Kai runs away and climbs up a ladder, but the hatch at the exit is locked. As Kai desperately pounds on the door, Ryu opens it and pulls him out of the hole. Just as they climb out of the hole, Gallon bursts through it after them.

Ryu kicks a pile of pipes onto Gallon, which retreats back into the hole. Shin and Yoku appear, and the ground begins to shake. A massive wave from the water treatment pool overwhelms everyone, but they power up to their Dagtector suits. Gallon grabs onto Shin, but Yoku uses an air attack to freeze Gallon and free Shin. Shin then shoots at some nearby oil barrels and causes an explosion, which they believe destroys Gallon. In space, a giant top escapes from Sargasso and heads for Earth. At night, Gallon appears at a ranch and sucks the life out of a group of cows. The next morning, a gigantic Gallon attacks the city. The boys can’t believe it’s still alive, and they wonder when En will wake up because only he can perform fusion. Kai decides they will have to deal with it on their own, so they summon their vehicles and attack Gallon. From overhead, Ryu flies by in his jet and deploys Guard Hawk, Guard Tiger and Guard Wolf to fight Gallon. However, Gallon easily knocks them aside. Gallon grabs onto Kai’s vehicle and starts crushing it, but Dag-Fire appears and attacks Gallon to rescue Kai. Gallon then attacks Dag-Fire and beats him down to the ground. Nearby, the top crashes into the ocean and begins to dig into the seabed. Kai, Shin and Yoku perform fusions and become Dag-Turbo, Dag-Armor and Dag-Wing. Dag-Wing freezes Gallon, while Dag-Turbo and Dag-Armor use missiles and wheels to blow it to pieces. They are pleased at having beaten the latest alien threat from Sargasso, but just then a massive tsunami forms up and threatens the city.

Not surprisingly, another alien nasty from Sargasso appears to wreak havoc on the poor citizens of Japan. This time it’s Gallon, a slimy creature that sucks the life out of people and turns them into mummies. Enthusiastic En is the first to encounter it and is injured in the process. This leaves the other guys to fight it themselves and discover that they too have the ability to fuse with their vehicles. While they easily dispatch Gallon in their new forms, the danger isn’t over. The mysterious flying saucer from Sargasso sets off a tidal wave that could destroy the city. With En still injured from fighting Gallon, what will the others do?
