A ball of electricity flies through the city at night and hides inside an abandoned factory. The next morning, En rushes to school on his bicycle and is nearly run over by a van on the street. He continues to hurry so as not to be late, but up ahead the road is blocked by an accident involving a train and a truck. En takes a quick look at a map of the city and decides to take shortcuts through houses and temples. As he rides by an abandoned factory, he stops when he sees electricity coming out of it. He moves in to have a closer look and spots the alien Electron. Electron spots En and shoots out electricity which hits En in the right arm. En activates his Dagtector suit and attacks Electron with his Elbow Claw. Electron shoots a ball of electricity at En, and En responds with his Shoulder Burst. Electron is apparently destroyed in an explosion, and En hurries off to school. Because he is late, he jumps over the wall and is caught by Vice Principal Ijuuin Haruka. Haruka asks En for his student ID and calls him a barnyard animal for being unorganized. En explains that he was late because of an accident and he also had to fight an alien. Haruka grabs En to drag him off for punishment, but Principal Asahiya appears and lets En go to class. Haruka objects, and Asahiya tells him it’s best for students to be energetic. Later, En meets up with the other guys at one of the clubhouses. Kai reminds En again that Dagwon is supposed to be a secret. En doesn’t understand, and Kai reminds him that he told Haruka about fighting an alien. En says it’s true, and Kai tells him they are students first and members of Dagwon second. The two begin to argue, and En throws an eraser at Kai which flies out the window and hits Maria in the face. She runs into the room and begins yelling at En. She throws the eraser at him, but he dodges it. Just then, Haruka enters with chalk marks on his face and accuses En of fighting with other students. He then grabs En and hauls him to the office for punishment.
Haruka takes En to Asahiya’s office and explains that they can’t let En influence the other students. Asahiya decides he must dish out punishment, so he assigns En to clean all the school’s toilets for a week. En complains about the punishment, and Haruka insists it’s too soft for what En has done. Asahiya is firm, and Haruka agrees on the condition that if En screws up he’ll have to face an even worse punishment. En reluctantly agrees to Haruka’s condition and is sent to clean toilets. Elsewhere, Electron travels through the city via the power lines. Kai and Ryu investigate the factory where En fought Electron for signs of the alien. In the city, Shin and Yoku also search for signs of aliens. While Yoku is more concerned with finding the alien, Shin only cares about talking to pretty girls. Electron enters a power plant and begins sucking electricity, which causes it to grow to a monstrous size. Shin and Yoku see a news report about Electron at the power plant and head for the scene with Kai. They attack Electron to no avail, and Yoku explains that Electron is surrounded by an electrical field. The three transform into their robot modes, and Dag-Armor asks where En is. Dag-Wing says En is cleaning toilets, and Dag-Turbo tells them to combine into Liner Dagwon. Liner Dagwon then attacks Electron, but Electron keeps them on defense. As En walks through the hallways with Haruka, he sees Liner Dagwon and Ryu fighting Electron. He asks Haruka for permission to leave and is denied. Electron holds Liner Dagwon in an electrical field and shoots down Ryu’s jet. En continues to beg and finally decides to punch Haruka and escape. Asahiya stops him and gives him permission to leave. En arrives at the battle and transforms into Fire Dagwon. He uses his Fire Hold to stop Electron and then kills it with his Fire Blade. Afterwards, En returns to school to clean toilets. Kai congratulates him on becoming more responsible, and En says he is only keeping his promise to Asahiya. Kai tells En he’s cleaning wrong and begins scrubbing the floor. Shin runs into the girl’s bathroom to clean it and is thrown out by Maria. Ryu and Yoku then pick up brooms to help clean the bathrooms.
This episode seems to be a bit of a change from the previous ones. Instead of focusing on the alien threat for the majority of the episode, it instead turns to school and the problems En has. Haruka definitely has it out for him, but he’s lucky that he has Asahiya on his side. Because of En’s loose tongue, it seems very likely that soon someone will find out the secret of Dagwon. As for this episode’s alien, Electron seems to be the weakest and most easily defeated alien yet. However, I’m sure more tough enemies are on the way.
