After the JDG-00X Devil Gundam escaped from Tokyo, Domon Kasshu traveled to the Guiana Highlands to train and improve his martial arts skills to fight his former master. Unbeknownst to him, he was followed by Master Asia and the Devil Gundam. When Master Asia revealed himself, he came with a massive army consisting of Death Army, Death Birdy and Death Navy mobile suits. Like the Death Birdy, the Death Navy was a variant of the standard Death Army suit. While the Death Birdie was created for airborne attacks, the Death Navy was designed to travel on the surface of water. It could move quickly through water and attack with a trident, but it could also release the Death Army suit docked with it for ground combat. Once separated, the Death Army suit could fire the water propulsion unit as a torpedo.
