Double Fake: Under the Gundam

Double Fake: Under the Gundam is a manga released exclusively in Japan from 1988-1989. Written and illustrated by Yuji Ushida, it was serialized in Bandai’s Model Journal magazine. The series is set in UC 0090 and is a prequel to the 1988 film Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack. The story focuses on Daryl Niel Guns, a civilian who crosses paths with Char Aznable’s Neo Zeon movement. The series was followed by a sequel manga, Mobile Suit Gundam Almarya.
