The 煌黒機動 Gundam Dryon III was a custom Gunpla built by Minato Sakai. It was inspired by his previous Gunpla, the 最強機動 Gundam Tryon 3, which was a super robot take on the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam. Like the Tryon 3, the Dryon III was formed by combining three individual units: the Sora Dryon, Riku Dryon and Umi Dryon. However, unlike the Tryon 3, Sakai was able to control all three Dryon units by himself. The Dryon III’s armaments were enhanced versions of the weapons featured on the Tryon 3. Sakai used the Dryon III as part of a team mission with his rival, Yuuma Kousaka. While the two rivals successfully defeated their enemies, their bickering prevented them from completing the mission before the time limit expired.
