The Dulfim was a twin-hulled escort space carrier serving in the Macross Galaxy fleet in 2059. Like other ships in the Macross Galaxy fleet, it was crewed by cyborgs, which were illegal in other emigrant fleets and colony worlds. Due to these cybernetic enhancements, the fleet’s executive leadership was able to control the consciousnesses of the crew to coordinate the fleet with extreme precision. This technology was based on previous efforts to develop fold jamming technology to disrupt communications in the Vajra hive mind. In 2059, the technology made its way to the Macross Frontier emigrant fleet after it received refugees from the Macross Galaxy fleet. This technology was subsequently used in the fleet’s plans to battle the Vajra.
