The EB-08 Reginlaze Standard Type was a new general purpose mobile suit developed by Gjallarhorn as the successor to the EB-06 Graze Standard Type. Built on the new Reginlaze Frame, the Reginlaze emphasized increased firepower and higher output as a result of Gjallarhorn’s battles against Tekkadan in P.D. 323. Like the Graze Standard Type, the Reginlaze was designed to operate both in space and on the ground. Its armaments included a rifle (with a larger caliber than the Graze Standard Type’s) and forearm-mounted gauntlets that functioned as shields and knuckle guards. It could also utilize a multi-weapon pack that could optionally mount a rifle, sword and gauntlet as Rifle Sword Mode, or a grenade launcher in place of the sword as Rifle Mode. Eighteen early production units were assigned to Rustal Elion’s Outer Lunar Orbit Joint Fleet (aka Arianrhod Fleet), and two units designated EB-08s were customized by pilots Julieta Juris and Iok Kujan.
