A highly unorthodox machine, the EMS-10 Pez Batalla was created by the Jupiter Empire specifically as an anti-ship unit. The front of the body mounted beam emitters that allowed it to charge directly through enemy ships, using its mounted missile launchers to clear a path of approach. However, due to its design, pilots were not expected to return and the Pez Batalla was something of a kamikaze attack unit. Additionally, the design had a major flaw in that the beam emitters prohibited its monoeye from covering the traditional range of sight, turning the entire left side of its body into a blind spot. As a result of these flaws, the Empire conducted research into turning the Pez Batalla’s concept into an equipable armor suit for the EMS-06 Batalla, but nothing ever came of it.
