The FA-78[G] Full Armor Gundam Ground Type was an Earth-use variation of the FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam. The Ground Type used an RX-78-1 Prototype Gundam as its base unit. The Ground Type’s armaments included a twin beam rifle, vulcan guns, beam sabers, a missile launcher and a rocket launcher. The Ground Type’s development was canceled after a computer simulated version was created, so the suit never entered production.
