The FA-93HWS v Gundam HWS (Heavy Weapon System) was a proposed upgrade plan for the RX-93 v Gundam. Its design was inspired by the FSWS (Full-armor System and Weapon System) utilized by the FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam during the One Year War in UC 0079. Additional armor pieces covered the v Gundam’s body, but several of the pieces included thrusters that prevented the extra weight from hampering mobility. The FA-93HWS also included a pair of shoulder missile launchers, a large high mega shield that mounted two mega particle cannons and a powerful hyper mega rifle. Due to the disappearance of Amuro Ray’s v Gundam at the end of the Second Neo Zeon War in UC 0093, the FA-93HWS plan was never implemented.
