Fafner in the Azure: Exodus is a TV series that aired in Japan and streamed internationally in 2015. It is a sequel to the 2010 film Fafner in the Azure: Heaven and Earth. Takashi Noto serves as director, although the rest of the main creative team returns from the movie. The series returns to Tatsumiya Island and focuses on the continuing conflict with the alien Festum. Exodus was followed in 2019 by a sequel series, Fafner in the Azure: The Beyond. Although the series was streamed internationally on Crunchyroll, it has not been released on home video in North America.
