The FHA-03M1 Mega Bazooka Launcher was long-range mega particle cannon developed initially for the exclusive use of AEUG pilot Char Aznable’s MSN-00100 Hyaku-Shiki. The Mega Bazooka Launcher’s destructive capability exceeded that of a battleship’s cannons and was powered by an internal reactor. However, due to long charging time, the process could be sped up by connecting to another mobile suit, which functioned as an external energy tank. The Mega Bazooka Launcher included a compact transport configuration and featured its own thrusters for independent movement. This allowed the mobile suit to essentially hitch a ride on the Launcher for transport without using its own propellant. When in use, hand and foot grips were deployed for the suit to connect to. Char’s Mega Bazooka Launcher was destroyed during the final battle of the Gryps War in February UC 0088. During the Laplace Incident in UC 0096, ECOAS pilot Conroy Haagensen used another unit to defend the Londo Bell ship Nahel Argama from a Neo Zeon attack.
