The Flagger II was an improved version of the Flagger combat hovercraft. Whereas the Flagger required the pilot to stand in an exposed cockpit area, the Flagger II featured a seated cockpit design. The Flagger II was armed with a single machine gun mounted on the forward end of the craft. The original Flagger remained in service even after the introduction of the Flagger II, and both craft types were used to patrol the streets of Megazone 23 and hunt down rebellious factions, such as the Trash biker gang.
