The Fleet Command Battle Carrier was the flagship for the Varauta forces. At over four kilometers long, it was the largest Varauta ship and could hold over 500 smaller vessels. In addition, it could accommodate up to 500 variable fighters and other craft. The carrier was equipped with both pinpoint barrier and total barrier systems for defense. Its armaments included anti-fleet reaction missiles, eight Macross main cannons, multiple anti-ship beam guns and multiple missile launchers. During the Protodeviln War of 2045-46, the carrier was commanded by Geperuniti, the leader of the Protodeviln species. Throughout the course of the war, Geperuniti commanded the Varauta forces to attack the Macross 5 and Macross 7 colony fleets to capture new subjects for the Spiritia Farm the Protodeviln needed to sustain themselves.
