The Fly Manta was an atmospheric fighter/bomber used by the Earth Federation Forces. The Fly Manta’s armaments included two 3-tube missile launchers and a pair of 30mm vulcan guns, but it could also be outfitted with bombs. Thanks to its high maneuverability, the Fly Manta was able to engage Zeon aircraft in dogfights. The Fly Manta was deployed extensively and was part of the air campaign during Operation Odessa, as well as the battle to retake the California Base from Zeon.
