Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid OVA: A Relatively Leisurely Day in the Life of a Fleet Captain

Tessa has a dream where the Tuatha de Danaan is engaged in battle. Suddenly the entire bridge crew turns into Sousukes and confess their love to her. She wakes up on the bridge wearing nothing but her underwear and a blouse. In the hangar, Sousuke is going over some battle simulations and promptly freaks out when Tessa walks up to him. Tessa hugs Sousuke and asks him to call her by her name. Her mind eventually clears up and more hilarity ensues. Tessa apologizes and asks Sousuke not to tell anyone. After showering and getting dressed, Tessa meets with Mao and explains what happened. Mao assures her that Sousuke won’t tell anyone and wonders why Tessa was sleeping on the bridge. Tessa recalls that she had some beers with Mao the night before then got lost on the way back to her room. And apparently she also lost her Bonta-kun teddy bear as well. Mao starts conducting a test involving a pair of M9’s dancing with each other. It ends with one of them slamming into a wall, and Tessa tells Mao that the repairs are coming out of her salary. Tessa inquires about Bonta-kun at the lost & found with no success. Weber walks in and hands a stack of anime DVDs, claiming that he found them in the locker area then leaves without signing the register. An exhausted Clouseau then walks in and reports that he lost the very same DVDs. He gets very embarrassed now that Tessa knows he watches anime and begs her not to tell anyone. Recalling that Kalinin called her the night before, Tessa follows up on the lead and heads to his room.

Kalinin invites Tessa to taste his cooking of a recipe by his late wife and tries to invite Sousuke as well. Sousuke however excuses himself. Tessa asks about their conversation last night and Kalinin reminds her that it was about a test for the base alarm. After the test began, Mardukas contacted Kalinin and told him that Tessa cannot attend. Tessa tastes Kalinin’s dish and finds it revolting, which she deduces is probably why Sousuke skipped out. Tessa eventually leaves and tries to find Mardukas when she runs into Weber being chased by Clouseau. Weber had spliced a scene of pigs making out into Clouseau’s DVDs. Weber shoots a rubber bullet at Clouseau but the latter deflects it with a mop. After a brief struggle Mardukas stops the fight and scolds both of them. After a long lecture he dismisses both of them and Tessa asks him about last night. Mardukas tells her that it was Sousuke who told him that she couldn’t attend the test and Tessa runs off to reach Sousuke before he departs to Tokyo. She remembers that Sousuke found her drunk in the hallways and in a fit of jealousy at his relation with Chidori she ordered him to take her to the Tuatha de Danaan’s bridge where he left her sleeping in the command chair and took Bonta-kun with him. Reaching the plane, Tessa apologizes to Sousuke and says that she likes him. However, Sousuke thinks that she’s confessing her love for alcohol and tells her to quit drinking. He tells her that he left Bonta-kun with Mao before the plane takes off, leaving Tessa very angry and frustrated. She recounts the events to Mao and reminds her that it’s her fault the she got drunk. Tessa remarks that, though she’s had a very bad day, she wished the day went on longer and bids Mao good night.
